Ten students from International Relations, B.A. and Sustainable Tourism, B.A. were participated in the workshop, this year under the lead of the UDE, discussing the end of the Second World War in the German-Dutch border area. With a focus on the similarities and differences in the culture of remembrance of the Second World War, textbooks from both countries were analyzed, film materials compared and contemporary documents from archives evaluated. Following several meetings with lectures, the students worked out their own evaluations in mixed groups from all universities.
