Recognition of the Preparatory Internship
Students of every bachelor’s programme must complete a preparatory internship related to the subject areas of their respective degree programme. Final deadline for submission of the preparatory internship certificates is the end of the registration period for the fourth semester. Proof of completion can be uploaded via the learning platform Moodle (see quicklink).
Recognition of Academic Achievements
Equivalent academic achievements (credits) earned at a different university or as part of an alternative education can, under certain circumstances, be transferred towards your degree programme at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. For this purpose, please submit a recognition request to the Examination Board of the Faculty of Society and Economics. Find detailed information via the learning platform Moodle (see quicklink).
Internship or Semester Abroad
Students of every bachelor’s programme at the Faculty of Society and Economics must complete a twenty-week internship or semester abroad, generally in the sixth semester. Further information on the application procedure is available online (see quicklink).
Information on the Examination Period
Examination offers, exam schedules, participant lists, exam room assignments as well as registration and withdrawal deadlines can be found on the learning platform moodle or on the homepage of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
Post-Exam Review
After the publication of the exam results you have the opportunity to review your exams. As a student of the Faculty of Society and Economics you will be informed about the review dates via e-mail. Alternatively you can look them up via the learning platform Moodle.

Thesis
Theses can be registered via SharePoint. Admission to the colloquium is approved by the head of the Examination Board.
