Study Advisory Service
The Study Advisory Service (ZSB) informs and advises students on all academic or admissions-related questions and issues. Its goal is to help prospective and current students make well-founded decisions to pursue a degree, to understand the German university system and to manage challenging situations or issues.
The Study Advisory Service can assist you with the following topics:
- the structure, content, challenges and emphasis areas found in our degree programmes,
- the application and admission process,
- choosing the right degree programme for you,
- coping with social and cultural challenges in various phases of your studies, financial aid etc. as well as
- changing your degree programme, applying for a leave of absence, reorienting your degree path, withdrawing from university
- your degree path, withdrawing from university
Besides our regular consultation hours, the Study Advisory Service also offers individual appointments, workshops and events dedicated to finding the right degree programme and organising your studies, as well as training seminars for teachers and informational events for parents and legal guardians.
