For the first time the Hochschule Rhein-Waal will be hosting a TEDx-Event on our campus in Kleve.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less) by professionals who share their experience and knowledge about a specific topic.

Our TEDx-Event will take place on Wednesday, the 15th of June from 4pm to 7pm in building 01, 1st floor, room 006 (lecture hall 3) under the theme of “Social Innovation”.

The topics of our selected speakers are:

“Food protected” (Prof Dr Neil Shirtcliffe)



“Sandbox Games – Innovation and Patents” (Karla Kaminski)

“Random walk through quantum mechanics” (Prof Dr Alexander Struck)

Each talk will be no longer than 18 minutes, is videotaped live and will be held in English.

The entry is free for all HSRW-community members, but the number of audience is limited to 100 people. Admission will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. To attend the event, signing up individually is required.

You will receive a confirmation via E-Mail on Tuesday.

By joining the event you agree with being videotaped. The video will be published online.
