TransRegINT

Transformation of the Lower Rhine Region - Innovation, Sustainability, Participation

“The purest form of insanity is to leave everything as it is and, at the same time, hope that something will change.” - Albert Einstein

Guiding transformation through science and research: this is the simple, yet immensely important objective of our project “TransRegINT - Transformation of the Lower Rhine Region: Innovation, Sustainability, Participation”, part of the broader Innovative Hochschule funding initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. We, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, consider the transfer of ideas, knowledge and experience between science, industry and society central to our efforts. Together with our regional partners, we strive in TransRegINT to act as both catalyst and inspiration for change, showing how opportunities for sustainable future development can be explored, seized upon and implemented. Our activities are inspired themselves by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

We, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, are a young and uniquely international university on the Lower Rhine between the Ruhr region of Germany and the Netherlands. Our internationality, interdisciplinarity and determination to forge new paths have shaped our university since its founding in 2009. We want to rethink “knowledge transfer”, to reimagine it with researchers and educators in more future-oriented ways. Our goal is to make a difference, not just on our two campuses, but also in the region and around the world.

You can help us make a difference. Join us in one of our open roles! Let’s transform the future together.

So if you consider sustainability a way of life and transformation an opportunity to work towards a brighter future through science and research, we look forward to receiving your application. Leave your mark on the ongoing transformations to industry and society and help make Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and the Lower Rhine region into models of change and adaptability to the challenges of our times.  For more information about the TransRegINT project, please visit: https://www.hochschule-rhein-waal.de/en/university/facilities-and-initi…
