Katalog PLUS

Katalog PLUS allows you to search the library's entire holdings as well as nearly all of the library's licensed digital resources and a broad range of freely available online resources with a single query. Not only that, but you can also login to Katalog PLUS to order or reserve media, renew a loan or request a book through interlibrary loan (ILL).

Katalog PLUS returns search results in two separate tabs:

Books & more returns results from the HSRW collection, primarily monographs and journals available in print or online.

Articles & more returns results in the form of articles from specialist journals or individual chapters in e-books. Full text access is available if the library has obtained the appropriate license or materials are open source. If full text access is not available, you can use the menu option Interlibrary Loan to request the full text from another library.

Some databases, for example Beck Online, Nautos and Statista, are not indexed in Katalog PLUS. In these and related cases, please instead use the menu option Additional Resources to search specifically through academic databases, e-journals and free, reputable internet sources.

In addition, with your university ID you can also remotely access a wide range of licensed academic databases, e-journals and e-books from anywhere, even off campus. See External Access for more information. Due to licensing regulations, this does not apply to external users.
