Navigating the jungle of workshops and training seminars dedicated to university didactics can be a frustrating experience, full of individual offers that are often difficult to compare and contrast. Participating universities in North Rhine-Westphalia have come up with a solution to this problem specifically for their teachers: the network “Hochschuldidaktische Weiterbildung Nordrhein-Westfalen“ (hdw), a diverse, transparent programme of training opportunities in university didactics.

This network is represented by mentors at each participating university. They can help you choose the right course, can discuss didactical questions with you and represent the interests of teaching staff vis-à-vis the hdw. The mentors at our University are Professor Thomas Heun and Dr Holger Angenent. Both are looking forward to answering your questions.
