Classroom observation with video feedback

Bild

Classroom observation is a powerful tool that allows you reflect on your own habits and behaviour in specific teaching situations. The reflection is supported by the recording of a teaching situation. Together with the ZfQ, you’ll decide which elements of your teaching should be observed during a course session. You’ll then receive feedback based on these observations according to different criteria, such as presentation style, use of media, dealing with difficult situations etc. Corresponding video sequences are used to illustrate individual feedback.

The main objective of classroom observation is not to rate your performance in specific teaching situations, but rather to work with you to find new areas and suggestions for further development of your teaching skills.

Classroom observation always begins with an individual consultation, where we’ll discuss the possibilities and limitations of this approach with regard to your specific needs.

After a phase of applying the developed potential for improvement in your own teaching, there is the possibility of follow-up events with video feedback to see how the teaching has changed/improved.
