Wolf Gardian successfully completed his studies in economics at Bielefeld University in 2011 with a degree in economics (equivalent to a master's degree). Since then, he has held various positions as a research assistant at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. As a research assistant in the field of economics with a focus on coordinating the laboratory infrastructure for experimental economic research, he manages, monitors, and conceptually develops the facilities of the university's laboratory for experimental economics. Wolf Gardian conducts research in the areas of fraud detection, mobility research (especially multimodal transport concepts), and mechanism design. He also teaches mathematics, economic simulations, and microeconomics. In 2024, he successfully completed his doctorate on fraud detection in relation to Benford's law and continues to conduct research in the field of digit analysis.
