Exciting and interactive lecture on "Politics of Climate Change"

On April 26, 2019, Dr. Sander Chan, Professor at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University and Senior Researcher at the German Development Institute in Bonn, visited the Faculty of Society and Economics. In an exciting and interactive lecture on "Politics of Climate Change", in front of about 80 students of "International Relations" at the event "International Affairs" by Prof. Dr. Jakob Lempp, he highlighted the climate change as a problem of international cooperation. Dr. Chan reported first-hand on the UN climate conferences of recent years in Lima, Paris, Bonn and Katowice, as well as the close link between climate policy and development policy.
