Field trip to Henkel Group

As part of a project in international taxation with Prof. Dr. habil. Ute Merbecks eleven bachelors’ students from International Taxation and Law were given the opportunity to visit the headquarter of Henkel Group in Düsseldorf. Besides an official presentation about the company and possible tax career opportunities at Henkel, our students had quite informative discussions with tax-experts from Henkel on following topics:

• Tax Compliance Management in Multinational Groups: New Approaches
• Global Minimum Taxation: Background and Challenges
• Tax Disclosure in Non-Financial Reports: Theory and Empirical Evidence

Our students were invited for a lunch at the impressive canteen. Even more impressions our students gained by the guided tour through the campus of Henkel and its newly opened Inspiration Center.
