Student representatives
Student parliament
The Student Parliament – StuPa for short – discusses important university policy issues which affect us as students, and actively contributes to the continued development of the university. StuPa consists of representatives from each faculty who are elected each year. StuPa manages the affairs of the entire student body and decides on the annual budget for the General Student Committee (AStA). Both elected bodies work together to represent the interests of the student body and find solutions to pressing issues. StuPa’s work is supported by various committees and working groups which provide recommendations and are involved in the decision-making process.
Do you have an issue which is important to you or the community? Every enrolled student is eligible to submit a proposal to the Student Parliament. Proposals are discussed during official meetings and most decisions are forwarded to the General Student Committee for implementation. All meetings are public and you are welcomed and encouraged to get involved!
