"Since I made the application for Deutschlandstipendium, professors have understood me much better, making my pursuit of academic excellence smoother and my voice as a student representative in the Faculty Board stronger. I was invited to be a tutor for a first-semester Mathematics course of my study programme, where I not only gained teaching experience in a university, but also deepened my fundamental mathematical knowledge and skills as well as learnt the administrative and legal aspects of working in Germany. Although the amount of Deutschlandstipendium is not even sufficient to cover the rent of the student dormitory, together with the salary of the tutor job, they have greatly relieved my financial pressure during the time of high inflation.
