Michael Strotkemper
Michael Strotkemper was appointed chancellor of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in April of 2018. His goals for Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences include advancing digitalisation in organisational process structures, long-term consolidation of financial resources, as well as implementing flexible and agile work models (“new work”).
Before coming to Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Mr Strotkemper worked in various roles at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2012 to 2018. Prior to his shift to academia, Mr Strotkemper worked at a renowned international auditing firm. Originally from the Sauerland region of Germany, he later moved to Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia, to study business economics.
He is married and has two children.
