Prof. Dr. Corinne Lohre
Prof. Dr. Corinne Lohre studied economics with special emphasis on international economic relations at the Gerhard-Mercator-University in Duisburg.
In the context of her PhD on regional integration strategies, she spent one year as a visiting scholar at the institute of Nobel prize winner Elinor Ostrom in the USA.
During her PhD program Prof. Dr. Corinne Lohre was a research associate at the chair of economic policy at the Gerhard-Mercator-University Duisburg.
Before coming to Rhine-Waal, Prof. Dr. Corinne Lohre worked for about 10 years for the KfW Development Bank in Frankfurt.
As a senior project manager she managed various development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and Eastern Europe. At last she also had the position of a sector economist for decentralization and local development.
