Faculty Represented Internationally – Impressions from the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo in San Diego
This year, our faculty was once again represented at the world’s largest international education event, the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo. The conference took place in San Diego, California, and once more provided an excellent platform for engaging with international partner institutions. Representing the faculty, Philipp Schorn and Fabian Dargel attended the event and returned with valuable insights, new contacts, and exciting perspectives.
As in previous years, the conference focused on topics such as internationalization, academic exchange, and strategic university partnerships. In numerous discussions with existing partners as well as potential new universities from around the globe, Philipp Schorn and Fabian Dargel were able to deepen established relationships and develop fresh ideas for future exchange programs, joint projects, and dual degree models.
NAFSA continues to be a unique opportunity to connect personally with colleagues from around the world and to reflect together on the future of international higher education. What stood out this year was the openness and willingness to collaborate shown by many counterparts – from North America, Europe, and Asia alike.
Participation in NAFSA 2025 was not only an investment in both current and future partnerships, but also a strong commitment to further advancing the internationalization of our faculty.
