As part of the repeatedly successful cooperation project between the International Business and Management, B.A. program, led by Professor Dr. Heiko Wilde, and ERGO Group AG, a practice-oriented company visit took place at the company's headquarters in Düsseldorf on June 17, 2026.

The students traveled to Düsseldorf in the afternoon to gain firsthand insights into the strategic orientation of an internationally operating insurance company. The visit centered on a professional presentation delivered by ERGO, focusing in particular on brand strategy, strategic marketing, and the legal framework governing international business activities.

The presentation highlighted how a global brand positions itself across different markets and addressed the challenges arising from European and worldwide regulatory requirements. In addition, the students gained valuable insights into the development and implementation of international marketing strategies, as well as the importance of consistent brand management in a dynamic and competitive business environment.

Following the presentation, a business reception provided an opportunity for direct exchange with industry professionals. Networking between students and company representatives was a key focus of the event and was actively embraced by all participants. In keeping with the occasion, attendees were dressed in business casual attire, contributing to a professional yet open and engaging atmosphere.

The excursion forms part of a comprehensive teaching project that combines theoretical course content with practical examples from the fields of international marketing and management. Once again, the cooperation project highlights the strong practical orientation of the degree program and the close collaboration between the university and its industry partners.
