The Faculty of Society and Economics is delighted to announce the appointment of three professors to the Chamber of Public Accountants' Examination Board. In addition to the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ralf Klapdor, who has been a member of the Examination Board for many years, Professors Dr. Ralf Bauer and Dr. Philipp Schorn have now also been appointed to this body for five years. For the Faculty of Society and Economics, these appointments are a confirmation of its good work in the field of auditing and accounting. These developments promise continued good performance and innovation in this field.

The Examination Board of the Chamber of Public Accountants is responsible for the examination of public accountants, which ensures the high standard of auditing in Germany. The examination commission is appointed with the approval of the Federal Ministry of Economics.

Ralf Klapdor is Professor of Business Administration with a focus on international taxation and has been a member of the examination board for 10 years. His reappointment for a further five years confirms the continuous quality that he brings to the work of the committee. The two business administration professors Ralf Bauer (specializing in Controlling and Cost Accounting) and Philipp Schorn (specializing in Accounting and Auditing) now form a strong cluster of professors from Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences on the Examination Board. This is not only an honor for the individual achievements of the three professors, but also a distinction for the university's profile in this area.
