Welcome to the website of the Professorship for Livestock Sciences and Environmental Impacts
Our activities are centered on the welfare of farm animals and the sustainable production of animal source foods.
In research, teaching and knowledge transfer we focus on established and innovative husbandry systems for cattle, pigs and poultry. We also address (new) approaches to improve animal welfare and health. Furthermore, we study issues related to resource and environmentally friendly production of animal foods.
