Career and Networking Events

Career and networking events offer fantastic opportunities to interact with potential future employers and learn more about their business and hiring practices. Events are organised throughout the year on both campuses so that regional companies can introduce themselves and their profiles to students. In turn, students have the chance to meet and network with company representatives, forging valuable new contacts that can help land that first career opportunity after graduation.

Career Talks

The Faculty of Society and Economics regularly hosts Career Talks, platforms for experts from the private sector and NGOs to talk about their careers and the paths they took to get there. Each presentation offers a wealth of practical information for audience members interested in breaking into related fields: which skills and qualifications do companies and organisations operating in those fields look for? Which tasks and responsibilities are involved? What strategies are there for getting your foot in the door?

Each Career Talk concludes with an informative Q&A session. Students from the Faculty of Society and Economics interested in seeing specific speakers and/or career fields on display should please send their suggestions to Ms Imke Hans at imke.hans@hochschule-rhein-waal.de.

  • Language: English, unless otherwise stated
  • Registration: No registration for students in the Faculty of Society and Economics or any other faculty
  • Where and when: Career Talks are held in Kleve and run around 90 minutes. Various Talks are offered throughout the semester.
