CV Quick Checks

Faculty of Society & Economics

Building a good CV doesn’t happen over night. Our CV quick checks allow you to gather constructive feedback early on in the process so that you end up with a Curriculum Vitae that catches the eye of any recruiter. In addition to providing helpful tips, we can also steer you towards other helpful resources to improve every document in your application portfolio.

  • Languages: German and English
  • Registration: Advanced registration for students is not required. Quick checks are first-come, first-served, so waiting times can vary.
  • Where and when: Kleve, several dates scheduled during the semester 
  • Important: Please bring your printed CV with you!

Individual Career Counselling

Currently, this service is only available at the Faculty of Society & Economics!

Individual career counselling is a way for you to clarify your (career) goals and your preferred path of professional development, as well as work out the first steps on your personal path into the world of work. During individual career counselling sessions we can take a thorough look at your application portfolio (cover letter, motivation letter and CV) as well as offer useful advice for preparing for an important job interview. Our goal is to provide personalised and individual support to get you on the path towards your chosen career.

  • Registration: By email, please check the career counselling time slots for this semester
  • Where and When: Kleve, Faculty for Society & Economics, max. 1 hr/session, multiple dates scheduled during the semester
