Study at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences!
Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is a young, vibrant university in the Lower Rhine region of Germany which offers innovative and challenging degree programmes as well as first-rate research opportunities in the natural sciences, social sciences, economics, technology and engineering. We currently offer a total of 25 bachelor’s degree programmes and 11 master’s degree programmes, the majority of which are taught completely in English.
Our degree programmes aren’t designed to fill ‘academic ivory towers’, but rather produce graduates that can effectively apply theoretical knowledge to real-world contexts and meet the rigorous demands of the international job market. Through applied teaching and learning, small class sizes, a diverse atmosphere of intercultural exchange, and integrated internship/placement requirements, we train the specialists of tomorrow, who are well equipped with the skills to prosper in a globalised marketplace and make the jump from academia to a professional career.
Winter semester courses at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences will begin on 2 November 2020.
For the time being, courses will not be held in person.
Instead, they will be offered online (distance learning) whenever feasible for the foreseeable future. All faculties will be offering a variety of distance learning options. Many accompanying materials will be made available for download and a range of tools and software will be used to offer courses in various formats, from lectures to interactive seminars. Rhine-Waal University is also working on new ways to conduct examinations in summer semester 2020.
As only core staff are currently permitted on campus, both Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort Campuses remain closed to students.
