The goal of ‘Mobile - Mobil im Leben’ is to develop a way for people with cognitive or physical disabilities to easily and effectively participate and navigate in public transportation. Dr Ing.- Christian Ressel, Professor of Ambient Intelligence at the Faculty of Communication and Environment, is the Scientific Head of the project.

Cycling for a better environment

Twenty-one members of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences recently took part in the Stadradeln Kleve initiative. Over a three-week period, the team commuted a total of 2,643.3 kilometres by bike, preventing the emission of around 375.3 kilogrammes of carbon dioxide!

Rhine-Waal student wins distinction in design competition of the Frankfurt Book Fair

285 designs from a total of 19 universities were submitted to the 2016 ‘Wettbewerb für junge Gestalter’ design competition organised by the Frankfurt Book Fair. Student Alexander Altrichter’s design was one of ten selected for destinction by the jury.

Das Programm „Meet the Experts“ der Hochschule Rhein-Waal und des Berufskollegs des Kreises Kleve in Kleve ermöglichte Schülerinnen und Schülern der Höheren Berufsfachschule mit der Profilbildung Automatisierungs- und Informationstechnik einen ersten aktiven Einblick in ein Studium und öffnete den Blick für die eigenen Studien- oder Karrieremöglichkeiten.
