Directions to Kleve Campus
From Kleve’s main station
It's a five-minute walk from the train station to Rhine-Waal University. The campus is located a few hundred metres away to the north-east and is visible from the station. Walk towards Bahnhofstrasse and turn right to leave the station. Walk to the roundabout, cross the road and continue on across the parking lot to reach the campus.
By plane
Kleve can be reached via four international airports:
Amsterdam Schipol (AMS): Take one of the many available trains to Nijmegen. There you can take a cross-border bus that will take you to Kleve’s main train station, which is within walking distance of the campus.
Cologne/Bonn (CGN): Take a train to the main train stations (Hauptbahnhof/Hbf) of either Düsseldorf or Krefeld. Transfer to the regional RE10 line (from/to Krefeld), which terminates in Kleve.
Düsseldorf (DUS): Take a train to Düsseldorf’s main train station. Transfer to the regional RE10 line (from/to Krefeld), which terminates in Kleve.
Weeze (NRN): Airport shuttles regularly connect Weeze Airport to nearby train stations in Goch, Weeze and Kevelaer. The regional RE10 runs through all of these cities and will take you directly to Kleve.
By car
Via the A3 autobahn: Follow the A3 towards the Netherlands (Nijmegen) and take the exit 3a to Emmerich. Turn right onto road B220 ('s-Heerenberger Strasse) across the Rhine and into Kleve (Emmericher Strasse) until you reach the roundabout at Rhine-Waal University. Take the first exit into Briener Strasse and immediately turn left again onto the campus car park (Marie-Curie-Strasse). Parking is free of charge.
Via the A42 and A57 autobahns: Change from the A42 to the A57 by keeping to the right and following the signs towards Nijmegen/A57. Follow the A57 until exit 2 - Kleve/Kranenburg/Goch-West. Turn right onto B9 and follow the road into Kleve. At the second set of traffic lights, turn right onto the Klever Ring (Uedemer Strasse/B9). Follow the Klever Ring/B9 until you turn left into Emmericher Strasse. Continue to the roundabout at Rhine-Waal University. Take the first exit into Briener Strasse and immediately turn left again onto the campus car park (Marie-Curie-Strasse).
