Jacob Beautemps:
Jacob Beautemps takes over the stage moderation at the Rhine-Waal University Campus Festival. He is a German YouTuber and researcher. He completed his Master of Education in Physics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, where he is now researching the topic of “learning with videos” as part of his doctoral thesis. On his YouTube channel Breaking Lab, he explains scientific topics and new technologies for the masses. With over three million views per month, the channel is one of the largest science channels in Germany. His documentary series “Science for Future” on ARD has been nominated for the Grimme Prize 2023 and he is the face of Tigerenten Club and 5 gegen Jauch. In 2020, he also founded YouTopia, the largest German livestream on the topic of sustainability.
Cover band Hörbar
The cover band Hörbar knows how to throw a party in all shapes, sizes and decades. Hörbar is four friends from Germany who’ve been performing for over ten years. They’ll be playing a huge assortment of songs with passion and musicianship for all of our visitors.
AStA takes the stage
We’re celebrating 15 years of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences with international voices from our student body. Students from around the world are studying in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort. On stage they will provide a look into their lives at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
Student band Sons of Ham
Sons of Ham is a dynamic fusion of afrobeat, jazz, and funk, blending smooth melodies with infectious rhythms that keep audiences grooving all night long. With their unique sound and energetic performance, they captivate crowds.
Cooking with Joel: an international cooking demonstration with students
Joel Büns, chef at Nova Caeli, and HSRW students will be preparing a variety of international foods on stage.
Swan Knight Race
The teams have built their boats—now it’s time to put them to the test! Who will be victorious on the waters of the Spoy Canal? Gather along the banks of the canal to watch the exciting (and often funny) race to the finish line!
Professor band Orange Green
Orange Green - the interdisciplinary faculties band from Technology and Bionics & Life Sciences with a mixture of singer-songwriter-folk-ballads.
DJ Maroox
DJ Maroox is a DJ and producer from Germany with millions of listens on Spotify. The 17-year-old rising star has already worked with top names in the industry like TCTS, twoloud and HOSANNA, and is a sought-after performer in the club scene. He’s also toured with artists like Moksi, Tujamo, Avaion, David Puentez and Mike Williams through many sold-out music venues.
Speedos
Speedos is our “band on wheels” for the Campus Festival, so you’ll definitely see them out and about all day. With an upright bass, western guitar, saxophone, drums and vocals, Speedos offers entertaining acoustic performances whenever and wherever.
