Studium Generale at Rhine-Waal

New presentations scheduled for summer semester 2015

Can music have miraculous effects on the healing process? What is the history and significance of the x-ray? What was Dante’s world like, and how did it affect his works? What is the social function of gossip from a psychological point of view? As part of Rhine-Waal’s Studium General programme for the summer semester 2015, experts will hold talks on these topics and more, providing audiences with interesting looks and insight into a variety of different subject areas. All presentations will be held in German.

Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, April 14, 2015: Rhine-Waal’s Studium Generale schedule for the summer semester 2015 promises another round of interesting and exciting topics. Experts from academia, medicine, nature conservation, philosophy and music will present topics from their areas of expertise to audiences in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort.

Studium Generale is free to attend for students and staff of the university, as well as interested residents from the community. It’s a way to incorporate residents into the university and give them a chance to benefit directly from the university’s educational programmes. All scheduled talks for this semester will be held in German.
