Start-up Week Germany 2021 – online programme open to anyone interested

This year, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is once again actively participating in Germany's largest campaign to strengthen entrepreneurship and the start-up spirit: Start-up Week Germany will take place from 15 to 19 November 2021. The aim of this week is to inspire young people to think and act entrepreneurially, to promote corresponding skills, to awaken creativity and to enable an exchange of ideas, experiences and opinions on the topic of start-ups and self-employment.

The Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (ZFIT) offers a comprehensive virtual event programme on the topics of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity as part of the StartGlocal - Global Spirit for Local Start-ups project. Academic staff and professors at the university were also involved in designing the programme. The interactive online workshops cover a wide range of topics - from start-up coaching to the development of business models and logo design. For example, there will be start-up coaching (November 16th 2021), a workshop on "Hacks for your Start-up PR" (November 17th 2021) and the interactive "Pressure Cooker Day" (November 19th 2021).

Creative people and those interested in founding a company not only have the opportunity to gain new experience and fresh impetus, but participants can also present their ideas through individual advisory services in order to make the start-up phase more promising. The online workshops are open to students, alumni and employees of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences as well as interested citizens. Please register at www.startglocal.de.

The project "StartGlocal - Global Spirit for Local Start-ups" is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the European Social Fund as part of the EXIST programme. For further information, please contact startglocal@hochschule-rhein-waal.de or www.startglocal.de.
