Science Meets Business: Company Evening in Kamp-Lintfort Focuses on Sustainability
The recent company evening in Kamp-Lintfort, hosted at the Sparkasse Duisburg, provided a platform for meaningful dialogue between research and industry. rofessor Dr Christoph Landscheidt, Mayor of Kamp-Lintfort, together with representatives from the "Von Herzen Kamp-Lintfort" city marketing association and Sparkasse Duisburg, shared valuable insights into the city's efforts and future prospects for sustainable urban development.
The Faculty of Communication and Environment was also present, with Professor Dr Bök, Professor Dr Hegemann, Professor Dr Große-Kampmann, as well as Ms. Drazek and Mr. König. They highlighted the university’s ongoing initiatives to facilitate knowledge transfer and foster innovations and start-ups that stem from cutting-edge research.
The evening offered excellent opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas. Regional entrepreneurs and business leaders discussed how strengthening ties between research institutions and the business world can drive sustainable innovations and contribute to the long-term development of Kamp-Lintfort.
