Third graduate survey in the field (news)
Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences hopes for active participation of 2017 graduates
For the third year in a row, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is conducting its graduate survey. This time graduates of the academic year 2017 (Graduation between 1st September 2016 and 31st August 2017) are interviewed roughly a year and half after finishing their bachelor or master degrees. The purpose of the survey is to include the feedback on student satisfaction and other topics into the continuous improvement processes of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
Results of the 2016 study show that two thirds of all graduates were satisfied or even very satisfied with their studies at Rhine-Waal University. "These results indicate that we are on the right track, but we want to become even better," says Professor Dr Marion Halfmann, Vice President for Studies, Teaching and Continuing Education. Graduates who finished their degree at Rhine-Waal University in the time period mentioned and who have not received an email with their personal login details in the last few days are asked to contact absolventenbefragung@hochschule-rhein-waal.de.
The current graduate survey started the beginning of December. Graduates can give their anonymous feedback online until 15th February 2019. As in recent years, the Central Evaluation Office of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences cooperates with the Institute of Applied Statistics (ISTAT) to ensure that all data are treated confidentially in accordance with Privacy Policy. More than 80 colleges and universities take part in the so-called KOAB Graduate Study, of which 31 are from North Rhine-Westphalia alone. 173 graduates and thus 34 Percent of the 2016 academic year took part in the last survey. Here, too, the team of the Central Evaluation Office around Vice President Halfmann hopes that even more graduates will participate this year.
