Kleve Immigration Office offers additional opening hours for students of Rhine-Waal University (news)
In recent days and weeks, ever more international students have turned to the Executive Board for help in improving the current situation at the Kleve Immigration Office. After a series of intensive talks with Kleve officials, a solution has been found which will greatly speed up the processing times for international students.
From 28th February onwards, the Kleve Immigration Office will dedicate every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. exclusively to Rhine-Waal students. To ensure as efficient processing as possible, students’ matters/applications will be gathered the day before, i.e. every Tuesday, in the Welcome Centre of the university and passed on to the Immigration Office in advance.
Rhine-Waal students who need an appointment at the Immigration Office are asked to send an email from their university mail account with their explicit matter(s), their nationality, their date of birth, their address, the expiration date of their visa as well as their matriculation number to welcome-centre@hochschule-rhein-waal.de. The staff will then arrange the next steps to get the matter(s) resolved. Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and the City of Kleve are hopeful that this new approach will serve as a good solution in the best interests of Rhine-Waal students.
