Round Table for (prospective) students with refugee background
Ana Maria Rivas Sandoval and Ricardo Do Nascimento Fernades are responsible at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences for the “Welcome Refugee” Project financed by the DAAD.
This is why they invite everyone who feels addressed by the topic for a Round Table on November 4 from 5:30-6:30 pm on Webex.
“According to the results of a Welcome Centre survey students with refugee background wish that the University implements such an event in order to exchange experiences. In compliance with their preferences we were glad to organize the Round Table and we hope furthermore that we can learn from the participants what is actually already going well at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and what can be improved” Ana says. Her colleague Ricardo is sure that the Round Table is valuable for prospective students: “The already enrolled students with refugee background at our University have overcome some hurdles until now and are surely role models for the prospective students. We think that such an exchange is a very helpful experiences.”
