Doing theatre & creating understanding for multiethnicity
A school project under scientific supervision
During the Week of Europe in 2015 the XOX-Theatre in Kleve, in cooperation with the Faculty of Society and Economics and the Secondary School Emmerich, has successfully taken part in a statewide competition. For three days, pupils of class 7b will develop their own play, which they will rehearse under the direction of Wolfgang Paterok of XOX-Theatre Kleve. The idea comes from Saskia Richter, staff member of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, who is currently doing her research on interpersonal and ethnic conflicts between pupils in secondary school.
The project is financed by the ‚Ministerium für Bundesangelegenheit, Europa und Medien‘ of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The public performance with the German title ‚Was ist denn hier bei uns im Haus los?‘ will be on 8 May 2015 at 3pm at XOX-Theatre. We kindly invite you to join the open-ended school project.
