Cooperation with ZUYD Maastricht

On the 1st of February, a poster session ended the project course “White Collar Crime” taught by our colleague Erline Lamberiks (ZUYD Hogeschool Maastricht) this Winter term. The students had been asked to design a poster in order to discuss a specific international scandal/case of white collar crime by way of using theories from the Social Sciences and Criminology. As a final step, students were then asked to assess the posters of their fellow student colleagues, to rate and to critically discuss the quality of their peer’s work. This successful project is part of the agenda to further intensify cooperation between both universities, in particular Kleve’s “International Relations” study programme and the Department of European Studies at ZUYD, be it as regards student and faculty exchange or collaborative teaching in the future. The next step will be that Prof Alexander Brand is going to be involved with teaching and student assessment in a course on “International Relations” at ZUYD in February and March this year.
