Media Competence Hub
HISTORY
The Audio Lab is founded by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gehnen in 2016 and moved to its current location in room 06 01 018 in 2018 after establishing the acoustics chamber. The Video Lab is inaugurated in May 2022 in its current location in room 06 01 016 at the Faculty of Technology and Bionics. The two labs were merged in 2025. Established in March 2025, the Media Competence Hub coordinates activities and training within the Audio-Video Lab.

Open Science Talk

Open Science Talk is a platform dedicated to making science communication more accessible, participatory, and inclusive.
This event offers early-career researchers the opportunity to present their projects to the public—no matter the stage of development. It's a space where ideas are shared, sparked, challenged, and refined, and where uncertainty is welcomed as the starting point of discovery.
