Studierendenwerk Düsseldorf

The Studierendenwerk Düsseldorf offers a wide range of services that make student life

easier. It operates the canteens on both campuses and provides additional accommodation

in several residential complexes. It’s responsible for carrying out

the BAföG Act, it issues its own student loans (DAKA) and can also help arrange

other available student loans in Germany (KfW, Bildungskredit). The Social Service helps

students overcome social, personal and money-related issues during their studies, and

the Cultural Office organises events and international exchanges.
