Research Coordination

Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences offers a broad range of services for researchers, including providing information on current calls for national and European research funding programmes, information on application requirements and research funding opportunities, support in identifying a potential funder and individual support in finding the most suitable funding programme for your project.

Once you’ve identified the proper approach for your project, we’ll continue to support you in writing your grant proposal and coordinating all internal administrative procedures at the university. We also offer assistance in finding internal and external cooperative partners for your projects.

Transfer and Innovation Management

The Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer assists researchers in the transfer of research and innovation between academia and the private sector. With our numerous contacts in industry and commerce, we act as mediators between researchers and regional companies, helping to facilitate innovative research projects and ideas while promoting continued co-operation between Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and companies from around the region.

Rhine-Waal's dedication to application-oriented research is one of the biggest strengths of our university. Practical research often results in useful inventions and discoveries for the benefit of society. To ensure that researchers benefit from their hard work and new discoveries, we work closely together with the innovation marketing agency PROvendis GmbH. Thus, we can help you coordinate your invention disclosures and give you valuable advice in critical areas such as patent registration, licensing and spin-off companies.
