International Center HSRW

Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages creates a common basis for language learning throughout Europe.

The course books we use in the International Center are designed to teach along the clear progression outlined by the CEFR scale. This allows for better placement in language courses and clearer goals for each level. This way students can almost ‘chart’ their progress as they traverse each new level and acquire new language skills.

Studio D - German as a Foreign Language (DaF)

DaF courses are among the most popular language courses we offer at the Interntional Center. Unfortunately, that means it’s sometimes difficult to get a Studio D book, our DaF coursebook, from the library in Kleve. Though all copies may be checked out in Kleve, you can often order a copy from our library in Kamp-Lintfort instead. This is a free service that you can use from any computer/internet connection.

Here’s a how-to guide to ordering books from Kamp-Lintfort.
