Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, 16 June 2016: It’s a frequently asked question in the Lower Rhine region: When will the rail connection between Kleve and Nijmegen return? Maurice Niesten, head of the Association for Modern EU-Regional Transport (VIEV), plays an important role in current efforts to bring back this highly anticipated connection. He has successfully pitched the project to the public transport company Arriva, which is currently researching the long-term viability of a new Kleve-Nijmegen rail connection.

In the next Studium Generale lecture, Mr Niesten will be presenting to the public the many prospects and possibilities offered by the return of the Kleve-Nijmegen connection. The lecture will be held in German.
