Change of leadership in the Senate

Professor Dr Achim Kehrein, Professor of Applied Mathematics in the Faculty of Technology and Bionics of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, was elected as the new Senate Chair in the 30^th session of the Senate of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Tobias Kamelski, who studies in the Faculty of Society and Economics, was elected to the post of Deputy Chair as well.

“We are delighted to have found a skilled and capable successor for the position of Senate Chair. I’m looking forward to working with Prof. Dr. Kehrein and I’m confident that we will seamlessly pick up where the previous chair, Professor Klapdor, left off after his successful tenure,” said University President Dr Heide Naderer after the Senate had adjourned.
