Online Panel-discussion about "Feminist Spaces in Peace and Conflict"
The German Association for Peace and Conflict Studies and the Rhine-Waal University for Applied Sciences is hosting an online Panel-discussion about "Feminist Spaces in Peace and Conflict". Due to COVID-19 regulations the event is now online and therefore publicly accessible.
The event will be focusing on the questions what and where are spaces for feminist approaches to peace and security in academia, activism and politics? Four representatives of various academic and political institutions will be discussing the crucial linkage of feminist theories with political practice and research and will also reveal why gender equality and a power analysis are preconditions to peace.
