Graduates celebrate together
Finally! After years of studying, often limited by the pandemic and the precautionary measures, graduates of the faculties of Technology and Bionics and Life Sciences celebrated their graduation together in the Audimax with families, friends and their professors.
Prof. Dr. William Megill (r.) and Prof. Dr. Peter Simon moderated the festive event.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Kister, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Transfer congratulated on behalf of the presidium.
The deans of the two faculties, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Nissing (r.) and Prof. Dr. Peter Scholz, invited the graduates to stay in contact with their teachers: „This is not a goodbye, this is a see you soon – hopefully“.
The professor’s band Orange Green entertained with music between the different parts of the graduation ceremony.
Lisa Waberg and Shingirai Matsveru presented the Alumni network with an entertaining quiz and Björn Flockau, part of the scientific staff at the faculty of Life Sciences, amused the audience with a talk about memories, including the favourite memories about their studies of some of the graduates.
