Congratulations
Almost 80 graduates celebrated last week at the joint graduation ceremony of the Faculties of Technology and Bionics and Life Sciences.
Prof. Dr Peter Simon (left) and Prof. Dr William Megill hosted the evening, reminding the graduates of times spent studying under pandemic conditions, of long commutes to Kleve, but also of the many wonderful moments, from Freshers' Weeks to passing the last exam.
Vice President Prof Dr Tatiana Zimenkova and the Deans of both faculties, Prof Dr Peter Scholz and Prof Dr Dirk Nissing, invited the former students to enter the new phase of their lives with courage, but also not to lose contact with the university.
Alumni representative Lisa Waberg's alumni quiz got the 400 or so spectators in the packed Audimax moving as they had to answer various questions about the HSRW alumni network.
Björn Flockau, research assistant at the Faculty of Life Sciences, reminded the graduates of their participation in the final survey in a funny science slam and then presented personal memories that the graduates had provided.
This time, the music was provided not only by the Orange Green professors' band from both faculties, but also by two graduates playing violin and viola.
