Beeswax-Wrap-Workshop 18.12.2019
With a pre-registration 35 students and non-students could participate in our Beeswax-Wrap-Workshop. After an introduction to fair trade, they produced their own beeswax cloths from fair cotton fabrics and regional beeswax.
Beeswax Wraps are a sustainable alternative to aluminium or cling film in which cheese, vegetables, fruit or bread can be stored, transported or frozen. In addition, these can be used as covers for bowls and dishes. Fair snacks, fair drinks and a Fairtrade-Quiz for the waiting time were offered. The workshop was a complete success and will be repeated soon.
