You want to apply in Germany but don’t know how to start? You have sent out your CV more times than you can count – but you still haven’t gotten a step further? You are unsure how to best market your skills and knowledge in your CV?

Don’t despair :

The i² CV Check Coaching will support you in creating your best CV
 

The i² CV Check Coaching is organised by the i² Project at the Centre for internationalisation and Languages. This CV check will provide you with constructive feedback early on in the process of applying, aiming at a Curriculum Vitae that catches the eye of any recruiter. In addition to providing useful tips, we can also steer you towards other helpful resources to improve your application portfolio.

Fridays from 2 to 6 pm

Rotating: Campus Kleve (2A EG 05), Campus KaLi (04 01 320) or online, see dates below

For Whom?
International Students from any faculty except Society & Economics* (see explanation below)

What do we offer?
The i²CV Check Coaching aims to provide you with constructive feedback early on in the process of applying, aiming at a Curriculum Vitae that catches the eye of any recruiter. In addition to providing useful tips, we can also steer you towards other helpful resources to improve your application portfolio.

Who can take part?
You can take part if…

  • You are an international student
  • You are studying at the Faculty of Technology & Bionics, Life Sciences or Communication & Environment*
  • You want to apply for a vacancy in Germany

How can you take part?

  • Prepare a CV based on these guidelines
  • In order to register:

1) Fill in the following information and copy it into an email to the Coach   

     Full name:
     Degree programme:
     Faculty:
     Study semester:
     Job(-family) you are applying for:
     CV prepared and attached:
     Appointment online or on-site:
     Preferred appointment date:
     Mobile No in case of short notice rescheduling (voluntary):

2) Attach your CV (editable text file preferred), ideally the link to the advertisement you wrote it for and send the email no later than a week prior to your desired appointment date. Appointments are given on a first come – first serve basis.

PLEASE NOTE: Incomplete Emails will not be answered, so make sure you follow the instructions above!
