The Faculty of Communication and Environment congratulates its new graduates
Brilliant autumn sunshine, beaming faces: With a ceremonial farewell in the fully packed Audimax, the Faculty of Communication and Environment honoured 121 graduates on October 11, 2024 in Kamp-Lintfort. Embedded in a festive programme, they received their symbolic certificates with best wishes for their professional futures.
University President Prof. Dr. Oliver Locker-Grütjen gave the welcoming speech, while Dean Prof. Dr. Klaus Hegemann moderated the celebratory afternoon.
Eva Folkerts conveyed congratulations on behalf of the Förderverein Hochschule Rhein-Waal e.V. The Campus Camp-Lintfort e.V. association presented its annual awards, recognizing "the best of the best." Chairman Frank Rattmann congratulated a total of 11 graduates for achieving the top marks in their respective study programmes.

Study Guide Elena Buksmann hosted a fun quiz to inform the audience about the offerings of the alumni network, while HSRW students Efe Gider and Ali Akyüz provided musical accompaniment with guitar and vocals.
After the official ceremony and before the champagne reception in the foyer, it was time for the traditional group photo with hat tossing.
