Model African Union Summit

22. - 24. May 2017

In the student organized simulation of the African Union Summit, the participants are taking the role of diplomats in the negotiation process. Over several days and in two committees they will debate to find solutions to a variety of African grievances. The Security Council discusses upon human rights and the civil unrest going on in Cameroon. The second committee addresses health and population issues, as well as emphasizes educational and political opportunities for the future of the African continent regarding youth development. 

The simulation is intended to sharp the knowledge of real African problems and to lead to more information and communication between students.

Shortly after the Closing Ceremony in the afternoon of 24th of May,  the International Africa Day will be celebrated together at Campus Cleve. 

All interested citizens are welcome to attend the conference and the international Africa Day as a guest.
