Cultural mediators

The i² project helps strengthen activities for assisting and guiding international students offered by the Welcome Centre of the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.

The aim is to:

• support international students in their everyday life, particularly with cultural nuances and faux pas, with the help of intercultural interpreters;
• assist and advise students on administrative processes;
• help develop and create content from a peer perspective, especially on the topics of diversity within the student body and as a basis for the socio-cultural OSAs;
• communicate German culture from a peer perspective.
