A group of students took part at the world's leading trade fair for agricultural technology, where all the leading companies in the industry, which means more than 2.800 exhibitors from over 53 different countries, present their innovations. Agritechnica is the showcase of the global agricultural engineering industry and a forum for the future of plant production.

Our students joined the trade fair from 9. - 16. November and represented our University. They shared the booth with other agricultural universities from Germany and could not only get an impression of many new technologies and innovations but also get into contact with students from other agricultural study courses. For students it was a week full of sharing knowledge, great discussions and interesting interviews on the red sofa.

Every year the universities organize special guests who are interviewed on this red sofa, and this year we started with Germanys minister for agriculture, nutrition and consumerism Julia Klöckner. The guest of the HSRW was Lars Heier, manager of marketing and product management at Lemken GmbH & Co KG, who gave some insights and tips how students can apply successfully for jobs and internships and described what companies really expect and on which factors they put some high values for applicants.
