With Dr Dani Kranz, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences (HSRW) has secured the services of an internationally renowned academic specialising in diversity, migration, social inequality and contemporary Jewish studies as an honorary professor for the Faculty of Society and Economics.
The Faculty is delighted to welcome Dr Dani Kranz as its new honorary professor. The award of this honorary professorship recognises her long-standing and close association with the Faculty of Society and Economics.
The application for the appointment was submitted by Prof. Eva Hinterhuber. Following the receipt of two expert opinions, the Faculty Council approved the appointment. On 24 September, the University President, Prof. Dr Oliver Locker-Grütjen, presented Dr Dani Kranz with the certificate of appointment.
Dr Dani Kranz has been associated with our faculty for many years and contributes her expertise in areas including diversity, migration, social inequality and contemporary Jewish studies. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and to many joint initiatives in teaching, research and knowledge transfer.
During the winter semester, Dr Dani Kranz will also introduce herself to the faculty in person as part of her inaugural lecture.
