Are you a student or graduate of Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences and interested in start-ups, but not sure where to start?
Whether you already have an idea or are simply starting to explore the topic of entrepreneurship – this workshop will give you a clear and practical introduction.
Launching your own business can often feel overwhelming at first: too many ideas, too much advice and no clear direction. In this session, we’ll distil the essentials and show you what really matters in the early stages of a start-up.
In this interactive workshop, Sina Yazdanfar, founder of YAFARTECH and an alumnus of Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, will share real-life insights into building and scaling a start-up – including mistakes, lessons learnt and frameworks that you can apply straight away.
In the workshop, you’ll learn:
• how to think like a founder – even without a specific idea•
how to use your time, energy and money effectively•
how to avoid typical beginner’s mistakes that
can cost you months or years• how to build a business that can truly scale (and doesn’t remain small)
• the four key areas every start-up must master: product, finance, marketing and sales
The workshop consists of short presentations and interactive exercises:
• Welcome & Sina’s founder story – his personal journey and what he’s learnt•
The 3 rarest business resources – making better decisions right from the start•
The Front-Loaded Model – avoiding burnout and
focusing on growth• The 4 critical start-up areas – where most beginners
fail• Networking with other participants
This session is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions and network with like-minded students, graduates and aspiring founders from HSRW. No prior knowledge is required.
